The Ring-necked Duck has similarities in looks to the Tufted Duck and the Greater or Lesser Scaups. These black and white waterfowl are all similar in size to each other. The Ring-necked Duck is seen throughout all of North America and into Central America. It is also seen throughout all of the Caribbean islands including Cuba.
