Marbled Godwit

The Marbled Godwit is the largest member of the godwit family seen in North America. This tawny-coloured and striped bird nests mostly in the Canadian prairies and the lower regions of Hudson Bay. It spends its winter months along the southern coast of the US and Mexico. This large shorebird has been reported seen throughout the Caribbean islands. It has been seen as a migrant in Cuba.
