Long-billed Curlew range

The Long-billed Curlew is the largest member of the curlew and shorebird families seen in North America. This very impressive looking bird can be found in open fields, where it is seen searching for various types of insects. It breeds on the prairies in the central regions of the continent. This curlew was reported seen in Cuba, making it a very rare visitor.
