The Lawrence's Warbler is a hybrid, which is a descendant of a Brewster's Warbler, another hybrid that cross-bred with a Golden-winged or Blue-winged Warbler. These colourful warblers are seen in the mid-eastern regions of North America and have characteristics and features of their parent species. During the winter months these warblers migrate south into the warmwer tropical countries. It has been a migrant in Cuba.
