The Common Myna is an exotic Asian bird introduced into the southern areas of Florida. It is seen from the central regions of the state, south to the tip of the Florida Keys. This brown and black bird is in the same family as the starlings and readily makes its habitat around people, buildings and cities. This myna has been reported seen in Cuba.
