Blue-winged Teal

The Blue-winged Teal is the largest teal seen in North America. The male is easily distinguished by the large white facial patch. The large area of blue on their wings of both sexes is easily seen when the teals are flying. These fast-flying and colourful ducks can be seen all over the continent of North America and have been reported seen in Cuba.
