The Blue-black Grassquit is a native bird to southern Mexico, Central America and South America. The male has a very
dark blue colored body with black colored wings, the female is brown colored, and is seen with a light brown breast. These sparrows-sized
birds can be found in grassy terrains. It is a rare vagrant to Cuba.
